Exciting times lay ahead. Some predictiions and perspectives of mine.
Certain Developments
AI will continue to reshape how we work, increasing leverage of the (creative) individual. AI will stay dumb-smart, human needs to stay in the loop to verify and steer LLM work.
computer goes faster -> LLM become cheaper and faster, the cost of producing most software will approach 0.
everyone will have LLM powered personal agent -> everyone will talk / chat with their personal agent and let it create customized software.
value lies in providing connectors to services (websites) for the agents to use (WebMCP)
Software: will be solved for all verifiable domains -> good taste and unique data rule after.
Image + Video: Image / Video / TV show production will be solved. -> again value lies in taste.
Augmented Reality glasses will gain more and more adoption -> enabling seemless digitalization.
robots: rate of progress unknown -> but certain will be huge impact on economy and geo-politics (warfare)
Space Exploration
- companies (rich individuals) will continue to push into space -> building new nation like entities
